Brain Exercise Classes Held Monthly

Experience a monthly journey with Kara Schweitzer, an educator from University of Illinois Extension, as she leads participants through interactive activities crafted to stimulate the brain and enhance cognitive function and memory. Regardless of age, whether you're young or old, it's never too late to embark on the path of brain training. Dive into this enjoyable and informative class with Kara. Next class is Tuesday, May 13th at 1:30pm.

Come make your own Minecraft Slime Jars at our May 10th craft hour. All school age kids are invited to attend.

Book Release for After Z series to be Held

Prophetstown native, J.S. Patrick, author of the “After Z” book series, will be at the Henry C. Adams Memorial Library on Saturday, April 26th from 11:00-1:00 p.m. The public is invited to stop in to speak with Patrick and hear him speak about his latest novel. Refreshments will be served.

Prophetstown is Proud to Read" Summer Reading Promotion
Please keep an eye out for our new program to encourage reading throughout the summer months. Henry C. Adams Memorial Library in coordination with Prophetstown Proud and our local businesses, are bringing an incentive program to our area kids K-8th grade, much like the nationwide "Book It" Program. This incentive program will run in tandem with our Summer Reading Program. Details to follow soon!

Micro-Greens Classes to be Offered
Did you know that Sulforaphane found in cruciferous vegetables, can help protect and repair your DNA??
Eat the cruciferous vegetables in micro-green form, you're packing a punch!
The Henry C. Adams Memorial Library will be offering Microgreen growing classes to the public this fall. These classes will be free and through a grant effort by OCHD, they will provide you with your own sprout house and training.
We would like to know if an evening or weekend class time will work for the public.
